Briar Rose

Wild rose, dog-rose, other names available.

I like briar rose. It reminds me of a fairy tale I read as a kid where, I think, the damsel in the tower was sought by a prince who had to find his way through an impenetrable barrier of briar rose in order to “save/marry/bother” her. I hope I’ve got at least some of that right!
This was at the roadside as I walked into my Pilates class in the toon.
