Tipi day

With our tickets confirmed for Glastonbury, preparations began today, checking out the tipi which will be home for the festival. Someone had to climb the rickety ladder into the hay loft to get the 20 tent poles, and that someone was me. This is my view of the family teamwork going on below as the 20 foot poles were passed down.
Back on ground level, we opened out the tipi canvas, which was a sufficiently large and unusual sight for a passing light aircraft to circle twice to work out what the thing was.
How we get the huge poles and canvas to Glasto' is yet to be decided, van, truck, or handy 'lift' from another tipi owner, who knows, but a 30 quid pop up tent it ain't.
