Poppy

The sunshine and hot temperatures continue!!  Ice lolly stock in the freezer is disappearing fast!!

A quick trip to Southend this morning to do some bank stuff, and grab some other  bits! ONe of the market stalls was doing a roaring trade in womens' clothing and I may have been one of their customers! We were all drawn to the linen dresses - with pockets!!!

Love this poppy in the garden - seems to be coping better in the heat and full sunshine than some of the peonies and roses!  Will have to pick more for the house!
