2023 Monday — Dave & Angie

I am currently taking apart old photo albums. Trying to figure out what to do with the old photos. Giant ugh!

It was exactly two weeks after our wedding fifty-eight years ago that our best man, Surfer Dave Sushinsky and our maid of honor Angie Rogers were married to each other at 11:00 a.m. at the same wedding chapel in Norwalk, California, where our wedding had been.

So today would have been their anniversary and I started hunting through Facebook to try to make connections with Angie. Surfer Dave died of a heart attack several months ago and was never on Facebook, but his son, Aaron, has a FB page, but the page appears to be seldom used; so, I looked thru Aaron’s FB account enough to find a person who appeared to be his current girlfriend. I sent her a private message and within moments she contacted me to let me know she is Aaron’s girlfriend and he was right there with her. She gave us his cellphone number and Mr.Fun phoned him immediately.

Aaron will be 58 years old this coming November. He lives in Everett, Washington, and is a school bus driver, He told us how to get in touch with his mom, Angie, and that she is living alone in Montrose, Colorado. He told us he would soon becoming to California to settle his dad’s estate and told us his dad had not made a Living Trust or Last Will & Testament, so finalizing things has been somewhat complicated.
