Pond Flitting

I took myself off to Lightwater Country Park for a walk today. I probably should have walked in through the MOD land, but with temperatures still up into the high 20s I elected to drive. At least I remembered to take water with me and resisted the urge to buy an ice cream!

I had a lovely walk around the ponds where I spotted this dragonfly flitting around. It was keeping to a relatively small area using an almost predictable flight pattern which allowed me to take some images of it "on the wing".
