Leeds Liverpool canal from Rishton.

A gloriously dry, sunny morning in Rishtoin, with plenty of interest to see from the canal side.
I observed a dragonfly, the parent swan with six cygnets and a neighbourhood Tabby cat.
There was a mallard sitting on the canal banking beside the cafe.
The yellow waterlilies are flowering. There are big clusters of tiny elderflowers on the plant near the wall. A bee was working on the white blackberry flowers. The temperature is 18c.
