On the job

Working on a semi-flat roof this week. First stage required removing/stripping the old roofing. This was a job in itself since tar had been used to seal it. Next we added a layer of 1/2" plywood to smooth out the various bumps and strengthen the roof. After that, it was applying an ice and water shield membrane for further protection. The final stage remains: installing the new roofing material.
