Wednesday: Parliament

Day 2 of the conference.  It was held in Lancaster House - the walk there this morning from Soho was lovely and set me up nicely for the day.  Saw quite a few colleagues I hadn’t seen for some years which was also great.

Full day with an official reception at the end.  I snuck off after an hour to meet up with K who was meeting our friend, A., at the House of Commons,  we had a drink on the terrace and then headed up to Soho to a pub near our hotel.  It was fantastic to catch up with him.

K had never been to parliament so he gave us a bit of a tour.
