AMERICAN FLAG DAY

June 14th is FLAG DAY in the US, which is held on the anniversary of the adoption
of the “Stars & Stripes” by the
Continental Congress, as the official FLAG.

Although there are not as many
civic celebrations as on
Independence Day (July 4th), there
are picnics & parades. “It’s a day to promote pride in a land that many brave men & women have defended.”

I celebrated by hanging my FLAG & wearing patriotic colors.
