60 years young!

My dad's surprise 60th birthday bash. His face when everyone turned up was a picture. He said so many times he didn't want a fuss or a big party but when his actual birthday on thursday passed uneventfully you could tell he was disappointed! Little did he know. My two sisters and I had worked on a special scrap book of his life for weeks and when we gave it to him he was really chuffed and had a good giggle at all the stories we'd got from various people in his past! We had also got him a birthday cake with a photo of him printed on it that was taken in florida, and my mum had made so much food we all ate til we were sick. So very good day had by all and the kids (four of them under 4) ran us all ragged but it was wonderful. In four weeks we are all going to Spain for two weeks to stay in my parents house to celebrate his 60th too and I'm so excited as its the first time I'll see the house.
