Time and Tides...

Wait for no dog. Or no woman.
I took two ferries today - Wemyss Bay to Rothesay and Rhubodach to Colintraive - to get to this little piece of heaven on the Kyles of Bute in Argyll.
It's called Caol Ruadh Sculpture Park and was created by Karen Scotland and her friend Anne Edmonds, both landscape architects.
It opened last year and during the summer months, the aim is to promote and sell the work of artists living and working in Scotland.
The weather was pitch perfect today as I walked around. I was very aware that this garden is a place where people come to seek sanctuary from the hubbub of the outside world.
These barnacle-covered concrete sculptures on the foreshore are by Kevin Dagg. He installed them last year and the tide ebbs and flows over them, leaving them open to the elements, just like many if the ruined cottages you see all over the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
