Life in a Northern Town

More Geocaching

There was a welcome breeze today to take the edge from the oppressive heat of the last few days - so we ventured out to do some Caching.

The beauty of Geocaching is that it encourages you to stop and explore places you'd normally drive straight past, or through. Today we explored Nettleton Hill, ten minutes from home but somewhere we had never been. The views were splendid and the Geocaching trail was very well thought out. Here's Sarah in need of her old Mum's knowledge of Led Zeppelin songs to solve a clue.

Extra is of Longwood reservoir, another place that keeps itself well hidden.
