From trickle to torrent
We escaped the flash flooding that other regions of southern France experienced last night but the river showed evidence of the amount of rainfall that fell last night. I did receive an alert on my telephone from the national alert agency of the danger from storms and hail in our village but the extreme weather must have passed us by. It was a good job I cancelled today's walk as it was still pouring down first thing. The rain meant I could catch up with jobs so I made some bread. Jeff came round to sign with me 66 pages of documentation. That took us quite a while. One set of documents has now been sent off signed for delivery so this mammoth task is hopefully at an end. The rain also meant that we could invite tennis friends over for coffee and biscuits.
