The Feast Day of Saint Davnet.
After a few days of not visiting the canal due to the high heat, I visited it this morning. There were the swan parents and not 7 but six cygnets. The mother swan was seated in shade near the cafe, while the father swan swam with the cygnets. The narrowboat is called Marguerite. Suddenly the dear Tabby cat appeared on the old wall. I did not stay for long as some people came to our current house to take photos for an investor who is interested in the property. Buy to let is now the way forward in our situation. It is an unfolding story with uncertainty yet hope for a good result.
It is 21c and very warm with a breeze. Plenty to do housework wise.
