Good things

I had a really good morning catching up with an old friend. (On his way out he was delighted to see that I have a board for the Jungle Game. I told him he'd made it for me, years ago, and the pieces. He was astonished.)
The building site manager told me that the laundry doesn't need another coat of paint.
I visited my uncle in his care home and got lots of important papers sorted and signed.
I stopped in University Parks on my cycle ride home and found these alliums. They are gorgeous things. When I reclaim my garden I will plant some.
Secondborn dropped round on her way out clubbing to show me the superb outfit she'd put together - just as I was contemplating getting ready for bed.
