Kohl Rabi - so beautiful

 One from my home grown patch.  The edible part grows half way up the stem and the leaves emerge from it.  I think it is a cross between turnip and cabbage and tastes wonderful - a bit like the inside of a broccoli stem - a bit nut likel  You can eat it raw or cooked.
