Moorish

We decided to stay another night here in Zaragoza after all and go into the city centre after it was recommended by several people including SueJay
We took the bus. Fine going in but hot and tired wanting to go home the bus stop seemed impossible to find, but find it we did and all is well . We had a dip in the pool to cool off and are going for a pizza in a few minutes.
The photo was taken in the Moorish Aljaferia palace a little way out of the centre. It’s a UNESCO world heritage site and is a magnificent example of Spanish Islamic architecture.
It was pretty much a ruin but has been extensively restored. These pillars and arches are beautifully ornate.
