Our beach.

This is the view of the beach below the house at about 7.30 this evening. You can also see Borroray, taransay and the mountains of Harris, maybe Bernera as well. It is all truly fabulous! Still wall to wall sunshine but a few clouds this evening so we shall see what tomorrow brings.
Today we have seen lapwings, red shanks, a short eared owl searching for food, eagle, endless sea birds. We did some trout fishing listening to all the birds including drumming snipe and a few corncrakes. Just heaven!
