Bluebells in the graveyard

I have a new favourite graveyard... and it's so close to my flat! I've never been in this one before - Newington Cemetery. It's like a little peaceful wood near the centre of town - and much larger than I'd expected.

There are so many fallen headstones and graves covered by greenery that it feels like it's a place that has been hidden away for years - in some ways I find it rather beautiful that nature seems to be taking over here. I think if I had a choice I'd prefer to be buried in a place like this where there are trees, birds and wildlife and nature is given free reign - it's far more my type of place than an immaculately kept graveyard with lines and lines of almost identical graves.
