Late afternoon light …

…………… on a nearby tarn. There’s a pukeko hiding there.

It’s been one of those non-stop days where you never seem to have time to stop. I shouldn’t complain though - there’ve been too many days these last couple of years when I couldn’t even get started. Things have changed!

I joined friends for a birthday lunch at midday, at my favourite Café - we ordered different dishes and then shared. Lovely!
It was followed this evening with an International Potluck at our local church. So many people from different countries, and everyone bringing dishes from wherever they chose. I took homemade hummus (Mediterranean) with hemp & almond biscuits. I really enjoyed getting to know people better.
