Boss guests

Two great friends, Hilary and Christian who are now my corporate bosses came to visit set today.  It was  hot and humid with hazy sunshine.  We ate lunch in the car park, pies were on the menu, perfect for the heat.  In the afternoon they went off for meetings and we discussed doing a few pick ups.  

I rushed over to the Hotel du Vin for a meeting with a new writer alongside Hilary   Realised I’d lost my charger and had to hunt down another from the hotel.  My room was so hot so i was worried about the night.  

We had a great dinner with a couple of the cast at Ox and Finch with Christian and Hilary, absolutely delicious.  

Nick, the writer and i had a late cup of herbal tea in the bar listening to a Texan woman complaining about the heat and the lack of air con and when I went to my room I could see her point.  

But a cool shower and cold water helped me through the night.
