Wisconsin Farm

A walk around Horicon Marsh State Wildlife Refuge where we saw lots of birds (but guess who had a dead camera battery?) I didn’t let it ruin my day. We saw black terns, great egrets, whooping cranes, osprey, swallows, and an American bitttern. A day full of cloudy sunshine and quiet breezes. I was Recon Con the Birdspotter for photogs Mary and Diane.

Next up Holy Hill Basilica, closed by the time we arrived.

Finally a scrumptious dinner at The Sawmill Restaurant including fresh sour doar cherry pie for dessert. Oh my, oh my.
