Moss Eccles Tarn

It was 26°C  in Moss Eccles Tarn, surely that's hotter than a swimming pool. Home of Jeremy Fisher,   just up the track from Beatrice Potter's House at Near Sawrey. Picnic on the rocks afterwards in the setting sun,  perfect evening. My car told me the outside temperature was 31.5°C as I drove over here at 4 pm , this the North West. It's ridiculous. We've had no rain other than one very short shower in three weeks. Please, please, can we have some rain.  .
