Flying Visit

On the way to Pilates fencing and road closed signs were being put out. Round the corner were several police motorcycles so I guessed a VIP was expected. Had difficulty getting home and paused to see if I could catch a glimpse. Decided to go home have a coffee and try again. 

Timed to perfection. Having arrived at the station on the Flying Scotsman King Charles walked up the high street greeting the crowds. He emerged from the butchers and then went onto Birdgate Chocolatiers. An assistant emerged with two handmade chocolate creations (I hope they didn’t melt!). 

Just caught a glimpse of King Charles before he went up the steps to the church. Blip sorted.
