SAFARI AND PARTY

DATES STILL MUDDLED…this was Saturday 10th!!!

We dropped Daisy at Mums early and headed off to Woburn Safari Park. We got there about 11:30 and did the hour car tour. Lots of animals were sleeping as it was so hot but we saw quite a few. The zebras were very close and the giraffes were particularly active. We went on the land train and the dragon pedalos (which was all included in our £30 ticket). The seal lion show was also lovely.
We left about 4 for a 45 min journey to our hotel. By the time we got there I had a splitting headache and was shivering …too much sun. So I slept it off for an hour.
Then it was time for the surprise birthday party for The Rev’s last uncle. He is on his Dads side and to be honest he hasn’t seen him in years or knew his cousins but we were both welcomed so much and true bonds and memories were made. Lots of links about who is married to who. (Most far too complicated to share here!!)
4 Guinness’ later the Rev joined everyone on the dance floor for a very loud jumpy version of Bohemian Rhapsody!!!
