Luminous

The day was fresh and sunny this morning then went a bit humid and sweaty. I have mostly been strimming and attracted a squadron of bastard flies (that well known species), impossible to swat when your arms are wobbling from the strimming. I went for a swim afterwards and the tide was high. It was delicious and there appeared to be no jellies though I did notice a few moon jellies as I was emerging.
More strimming in the afternoon - you can now drive or walk down our boreen without being knee high in grasses; pretty though they were they have now flopped. That's enough for any Monday.
