Star of Bethlehem.
These pastel colour blue violet Star of Bethlehem flowers are a welcome sight. They are "flower children" of an original parent plant and they look nice and growing untamed and wild in amongst the ferns and ornamental grasses in big green flower pots. The bees visit them early in the morning and then in the cool of the evening.
It is 28c and unbearably sweltering here. Thunderstorms are forecast.
I am drinking lemon juice squeezed into fridge cold water. It is perfect and quenching in this weather and said to help with weight loss.
Just staying in now until the heat goes. Reading The People's Friend short stories. Paul is tackling the soduku puzzles after packing away another box load of books, while I did the washing.
Stay cool and enjoy your day. Thanks for dropping by blip friends.
