Domestic goddess

Didn’t do much today. Caught up with cleaning and laundry and shopping. We were excited to go grocery shopping in Woolies. There are a few things they sell that we wanted.

The caravan is clean but not very tidy. It’s a small space. Everything has a spot to live but while travelling you need to rearrange things to stop them being damaged. When we set out I check all Bob’s jobs and he checks mine. Sometimes we miss something. Yesterday I forgot to get the books off a shelf so when we arrived they were all on the floor. All doors need to be locked. After awhile you get into a pattern. I have to do about 100 small things inside and Bob does the outside stuff. then we always check the lights (indicator and brakes etc) and a site check as we drive off. It’s not for everyone.

We haven’t checked out Esperance yet. After shopping we drove around looking for a camping shop. One was closed and empty. Another was back where we started searching. So back we went. We need special chemical to go in the toilet cassette ( stops it smelling so most important) and marine grade loo paper. It’s more expensive but dissolves completely and worth the bother.

It poured all night but it was sunny today. Very windy so not pleasant out. I tried to catch up on blip and the online news.
