Meet Gingin
I thought it'd be fair for you all to meet my dog seeing as Kizmett was on display yesterday!
This is Gingin napping at my uncle's birthday lunch. He was under the table, his favourite spot.
I am deciding whether to bid on a sequinned bolero on Trademe... Going cheap... More of a want than a need, like most sequinned things in life.
OK, I bidded. But there are two other people who have been bidding every couple of minutes. I can feel a slight adrenhelin rush, I think that this means I need to get out more??
This is in invitation the gallery sent out for the exhibition I've been organising, they put in my ramblings! am proud: "The reason we have chosen to have a joint exhibition is to involve as many students as possible into the wonderful world of getting to display their artworks in a gallery. It also promotes teamwork among students, and appreciation for others' works. It is also a fantastic learning experience for the students as they are presented with a very different challenge that does not usually happen within school. Their eyes will be opened to the life of artists; they will see that creating art is a career, not just a subject where you get to paint a pretty picture. Our main goal is really to get the students and teachers excited about their art, and to gain a more in-depth knowledge of the art world. We want them to feel appreciated and talented knowing that their work is in a gallery. We have informed the students that have had their art chosen for the exhibition, and they are so proud of themselves already, it's really amazing to see. "
