Happy Birthday, Manda

Today's family dinner was a celebration of Manda's 40th birthday and it was a grand one.  Manda chose the menu - burgers, fries and onion rings - and Cousin Diane brought a great noodle salad and a watermelon boat full of assorted fruits.  Nick, as usual, had baked a delicious cake.  I had a salmon burger which turned out to be kidney friendly, but over-indulged with the giant onion rings - I had two. I don't suppose I'll ever have another.

In the collage you see (from upper left) the twins getting in some last minute play just as they were supposed to be going home, the whole group at table, Levi and his dad, Manda admiring the ring that was my gift to her, and Andrew playing a kissing game with Max.

Home now and trying to get up some steam for housekeeping.  The cleaners are coming tomorrow and I am woefully unready.
