Fuchsia

There is a flower vendor on the side of Burnt Store Rd. She has the prettiest display of flowers arranged on an old wooden trailer bed. She sits under a sunshade tent and waves at cars driving by. Yesterday we finally stopped by to check out her flowers. She hails from Upper Marlboro, where she grows the flowers. We picked a pot of begonias to take to my husband's niece, who hosted his sister's birthday party. We also chose some fuchsias, which  I planted in our front garden today.

This morning I finished my Maryland Boater Safety Class and passed the test. I am ready to be a boating Ninja!
