9-ball semi-finals

The European Pool Championships have been played in the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre, and today was the last day. Since the venue is quite close to us, and entrance was free, I was curious to see how billiard championships look like. It was interesting! We saw 9-ball semi-finals, and four series were played simultaneously: men, women, wheelchair and U23.

Here Pia Filler  (Germany) plays against Veronika Ivanovskaia (Germany), the result was 7-3. Later Pia Filler won the women's' 9-ball European Championships.

Leevi and Emma came over in the afternoon. We did gardening together, my energy only ended much earlier than theirs. In the evening we ate smoked orange salmon, new potatoes and rhubarb pie. Lovely day!
