Take off
A trip to Tesco’s for the weekly shop this morning. I expected it to be busy, but it wasn’t and as a bonus was lovely and cool.
We then set about putting up pictures. We have finished B’s study and these are his favourites. Three aircraft that he worked on in the ‘70’s and the ‘80’s. The Vulcan is a cross stitch embroidery that I finished after it got lost and was found again in 2015, the Jaguar was hand painted in 1978 and the Nimrod AEW Mk3 was a leaving present from the team when he left the RAF in 1987. Loads of memories.
We struggled to work late afternoon due to the heat, but after dinner it started to rain. Thunder and lightning in the distance and a steady downpour for an hour or so. Such a relief for the garden, the plants and for us. Amber wasn’t fussed by it.
