Ironman 70.3 Stafford

It's not my photo as I wasn't there, but I want to mark John's brilliant achievement with a photo of him.  He set off at 7:30 and did a brilliant job.  He did his swim in 34 minutes, bike was 3 hours and 9 minutes and his run was 2 hours and 36.   Total with transition was 6 hours and 34 mins.   I'm super proud of him!  We weren't there but we tracked him all the way on the app and he loved his home made card.

We had a quiet day.  We walked/scooted to swimming.  I nearly melted on the balcony watching the girls, and then we walked/scooted home.  Then we just filled the afternoon with jobs and playing.  We did that game where one person draws a head, the next draws a body and the last draws the legs.  The girls love playing that. Everyone is in bed now and I am going to do a bit of cross stitch and go to sleep myself.
