Crimson Creatures …

… on a plant opposite our house.  I don’t recall ever having seen anything like them; I’m glad they’re not larger :)

We spent the morning watching the women’s final of the French Open.  It was very competitive, but in the end Iga Swiatek prevailed over Karolina Muchova in 3 sets.

Mystery solved:  An biology professor friend has identified the "creatures" as milkweed beetles.  Many thanks, D.
