Not my usual sort of shot.
You know how it is - some days no photos worth sharing, another day lots of interesting things. Today, on a visit to Cragside and a walk on the beach at Banbrough, I had lots of choice.
I really liked this wild poppy growing on the sandunes and was amazing by the fuzzy heads before they opened. Banbrough Castle is in the background...but perhaps you've seen a photo like this before because when I knelt in the grass to take it I found a flattened patch where someone had been before!
