The Three Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)

There are some who think I go to an extreme, almost perversely proud of being a cheapskate. My fashion style, in the main, is thrift store chic. The "Take it or Leave it" shed/corner has been the source of some of my favorite finds and projects, including some of the cameras in my "small but growing" vintage camera collection. "Bogo" and "Reduced for Quick Sale" are keywords for a dedicated cheapskate like me. Perhaps I should change my nickname from Pepper to Skate. Nah ... it may be Saturday but that would be silly.

This particular still life includes a ceramic vase and oil lamp that were freebies somebody was tossing out, a saltwater rod and reel I picked up for a dollar at a flea market from somebody eager to finish for the day and head home, and a hanging plant rescued from a garden center's bargain table ... and the adventure, quite frugally, continues.
