All That Jazz
While much of the UK has been enjoying warm sunny weather, here in North Norfolk summer started today. After weeks of little sunshine and a cold north wind, today was the first proper summer’s day we’ve had.
Such perfect timing as M and I joined friends for a concert by the Transatlantic Hot Club, a gypsy jazz swing band featuring accordion, violin, double bass and harp. They were brilliant and this outdoor concert was held in the beautiful gardens of Elsing Hall near Dereham. We were treated to some fabulous food provided by our friends. It really was one of those perfect English summer evenings.
