La Notte Bianca

“Notte Bianca” is the one night in Locarno when the inner part of the city is traffic free, many stages with music in front of restaurant and bars all night. Also many shops, museums and galleries are free of charge and open till midnight.

As the tourist seasons is not yet in full swing, the notte bianca is an event mostly for locals who know the artists and sing along in Italian.

We fully enjoyed wandering through the old town at 20° late evening after a long day of thoroughly cleaning the flat, terrasse and cellar.
