A session

At the John McKenna music festival in Drumkeerin, Co. Leitrim this weekend. We had a great session this evening, for a few hours. The photo is of a fiddle and a flute, two important instruments in Irish music. For a while today, we had only fiddles and flutes in the session, a lovely combination.
I had to stop playing after almost three hours of playing - my wrist was complaining!!! A really enjoyable day. And more tomorrow!
