Diary of an Edinburgher

Archie ‘enjoys’ lunch…

JR went off to the gym with her sore neck, but came back with it almost cured! I busied myself doing two loads of washing and hanging it out in the - YES -morning SUN!

We were invited out for lunch by Abi and Fergus, Pip's mum and dad. We took Archie, though we know he's NOT keen on being in restaurants. He dragged us past every cafe in Bruntsfield (and there are quite a few), but what would you know... he actually (eventually) lay down on the floor in this one!! Maybe because Pip was also there, and was pretty laid back... whatever, we were delighted. It was Tempo Perso, but I can’t put a link in…

We walked back across the Links, and yes - there was still a chilly breeze, despite the crowds out picnicking like it was actually summer. But once we got into our sheltered back garden it was deliciously WARM. In fact, we only left the back garden when the sun finally disappeared behind the buildings at about 8pm. A very lovely afternoon was had by all. Even Archie.
