Wallace

Spent the morning marking exams and packing up for an overnight trip, then headed up to the station and a train for Stirling for the semi-regular staff development event for maths and stats tutors. Good to see some old chums and Shandonner gave an excellent non-mathematical presentation on his involvement with the boathouse on the canal. We had dinner (noticeably better food than in previous years) and several of us did a song or two. When I turned round to pick up my guitar I noticed this vision out of the window - the Wallace monument glowing gold and a bonus oystercatcher foraging in the foreground.
