Good and Bad

Good to take the bicycle and to see storks in the Bruch.

Bad to see (and smell) where last night 120 bales burned down, right next to where I took yesterday's photo (you can see yesterday's cows in the corner of the extra). The fire last night made it in the State's TV news - they said it's a 10000 € loss. It's still unknow what caused the fire, but since there have been more incidents around the Kranichwoog lately, it wouldn't surprise me if the bales were lit deliberately.
Besides the financial loss, all the farmer's work for nothing. Last week I blipped the farmer and walked by when he piled up the bales. Luckily the fire department prevented that all bales burned down and had the ones on fire burn down under control. The Kranichwoog is on the other side of the path; still no sign of the buffalos. Perhaps a good thing after last nights events.
