Splash of Colour

The garden doesn’t have many flowers at the moment, except for a few tired roses. So I was happy to find this self-seeded foxglove peeping out of the hedge.

A hot day, with 31 degrees C in the shade. I woke up early, thanks to the cats, had breakfast on the patio, and managed some gardening and a walk in the morning. The rest of the day was simply too hot for outdoor activities.
