A Bonny Day in Orkney

After a successful Friday evening in the Hoy Kirk we returned to HQ via the first ferry from Lyness.  However there was no slacking of the pace.  It would have been mad to have missed the East Kirk Plant Sale through in Kirkwall.  We were in the queue to pay for plants, two prize specimens for tomorrow nights meal with the Foubisters, when the Foubisters came along (blindside) and admired the plants.  We distracted them and they agreed to plan an outing to Wyre.  We parted in the Toon – not in haste – CMC to her accordion lesson and me back to base to get straight onto the porch roof.

A warm day, Bibs slinking aboot in her bikini.

Heard from Dougal’s Keeper.  They are currently down in Limekilns at his Mum’s.  She’s pampering him at 96.  Unfortunately he’s still struggling and is looking forward to being home early next week.

Tomorrow it’s another outing with Bunty and Sue.
