Photographing the Sun

Although the filter on the telescope looks homemade, the actual reflective film is a bona fide Solar filter, cutting out 99.99% of the light including the harmful wavelengths. Never attempt to look at or photograph the Sun without the proper gear, your eyes won't like it and that's putting it mildly.
Anyhow, due to the heat today the atmospheric turbulence, or 'seeing' was intrusive, making it almost impossible to focus so the results weren't very good.
