Roots and Wings
Met up with Sal in the morning and we went to a new cafe. It was near Hirst Wood Lock on the Leeds Liverpool Canal and was owned by Hughes Bakery. There’s a nice outdoor area overlooking Saltaire Cricket Ground so we made use of this.
The coffee was very nice and they looked to have some fabulous cakes which you would expect for a bakery.
Afterwards we had a mooch around the local nature reserve and then had a stroll along the canal towards Bingley.
I had to be back home in the afternoon as a local gardener was calling with a view to helping me keep my front garden tidy.
Took Sal a Corvid themed gift which, as one would expect, went down rather well!
