Nobody Home

Don't bother looking too closely, there's no critter in the picture.  It's a desperation blip of the blue jay's favorite branch sans blue jay.  It was the end of the day and I couldn't wait any longer to get a blip.  I had my little Sony with me all day but the battery gave out.  I love this little camera but if I had to find a flaw it would be that there's no warning about the battery.  The icon still has one or two marks on it but when you turn the camera on it says "battery exhausted" as if turning the camera on was the last straw.  

Tomorrow Rob, Laurie and I are going to downtown Bloomington for a handmade fair which may prove to be my ultimate downfall.  There are amazing artists and craftspersons around here so I'll have to be strong and resist buying things.  

I wish I had a squirrel for Squirrel Blip Friday but I've only seen one young one in the yard about 4 days ago and none since.  I hope they show up.  Whiskers the chipmunk has not returned from his trip next door either.
