My last day...

Today is my last day as an intern for the City of Lit. Everyone's in the office today, so the morning was lovely with a mix of chatter and work. This afternoon, Peggy and I had a meeting at Parliament, then ran a few errands in town. One of these errands took us to the NLS to drop off a package, and I got to see this lovely book sculpture made out of Ian Rankin's Exit Music. It was perfect to see this on my last day, as to me it represents a lot of things: the Edinburgh literary scene, my favorite author, one of my favorite books, books as art, books as life.
We just had some Fabs, and I'm just finishing up my last day here.
