Reach for the sky . . .

About all I can manage today, and a very quick blip as it’s already a bit late to make an early night.
 
A hectic day winding up with an exhausted old f*** (that’s short for ‘fellow’).
 
Took the car to the ‘tyre place’ to look at a slow leak in the front nearside and to work out if it was worthwhile changing all four – all near the mark and the back have been on there since the car was new.  Held up there for nearly an hour as one of the early jobs turned out to be a nightmare and it had put them back.  Yes, new tyres are in order, but only ‘economy brand’ tyres in stock and Micheline (my preferred brand) had to be ordered in next Tuesday!  If only I had phoned round before venturing out – they were brilliant seven years ago.
 
This afternoon was taken up with ‘repairs’ to the ‘fruit cage’ which I put together last year for Mrs W.  More in a later blip I expect.  Wound up with a late dinner and now to bed.
